IRISH LANGUAGE SESAME STREET - Are you the next Big Bird, Bert or Ernie?
Kermit the Frog, Big Bird, The Count, Bert and Ernie!  For those of us that grew up with Sesame Street on our televisions these names roll off the tongue.  But do you think that you have the voice to do Big Bird or Kermit for the Irish Language version of Sesame Street to be broadcast on TG4 in the autumn?  Have you ever entertained your friends with your uncanny resemblance to the Cookie Monster or have you created lightening every time you reach that magic number like Count?

Well now is your chance! The Emmy award winning company, Telegael, in An Spidal is looking for people who fancy themselves as the next inhabitants of the Sesame Street neighbourhood.  They will be dubbing the series over the next 6 months and are organising auditions for the following characters:

Big Bird, Kermit, Bert, Ernie, Count, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch and Grover.

All you have to do is put your attempt on tape, cd, mini disk, mp3 or whatever you can record your voice onto.  As Gaeilge, of course! Send it, along with your contact details to Sesame Street Auditions, Telegael, An Spidal, Co na Gaillimhe.  Send emails to sesame@telegael.com

The audition team will trawl through each and every attempt and if you are the next Big Bird you will be called for a formal audition.
