Paul Cummins

CEO Paul Cummins is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in the television, animation and film industries.  Since founding Telegael in 1988, Paul has raised substantial investment for Telegael’s slate of productions and has acted as Executive Producer on more than 40 projects for the global television market amounting to more than 500 hours of programming. These projects include two-time Emmy Award winning series Tutenstein for PorchLight Entertainment and Discovery Kids, Hero -108 for Moonscoop and Cartoon Network , Skunk Fu for Cartoon Saloon and Super-RTL/BBC and three-time IFTA winner Aifric, the tween live action series which has been translated into 7 different languages.

Siobhán Ní Ghadhra

Chief Operating Officer Having begun her career at the Roger Corman film studios, Siobhán has been Head of Production with Telegael since 2000. She is responsible for all in-house productions and co-productions bringing a wealth of experience and international contacts. Siobhán has developed strong long-term relationships with acclaimed producers, writers and directors in four continents and won numerous awards including two Emmy Awards (7 Emmy Nominations) and four IFTA Awards. Siobhán holds degrees in Law, Economics and Communications and lives with her husband and two daughters in Indreabhán, Galway.

Áine Ní Chualáin

Head of Business and Legal Affairs A qualified solicitor, Áine worked in the corporate department of a top tier Dublin law firm prior to joining Telegael in 2009. Áine has extensive experience in international film financing, co-production structures, debt financing and media rights management. She is responsible for managing Telegael’s financing and investment transactions and the company’s relationships with the stakeholders in such transactions.
Áine holds a primary degree in Law and French, a masters degree in International Human Rights Law and a Diploma in Employment Law.

Enda Boner

Director of Facilities Enda has over 20 years experience working in the film and television industry. He joined Telegael in 1989 as a sound recordist, later working as sound mixer until he was appointed head of the company’s sound division. As Director of Facilities, Enda heads up the company’s technical and engineering team and is responsible for managing the company’s $14m. investment to date in studios, facilities and technology.

John Brady

CEO, Studio Solas John Brady has a wealth of producing experience in the area of international production and co-productions having been involved with productions for Showtime, Trimark, BBC, Disney, ITV, Minds Eye Pictures, RTE, TG4 and Concorde New Horizons. Sinéad McGinn

Sharon Gill

Head of Subtitling Sharon joined Telegael in 2000 as a production assistant and in 2006 was appointed head of the company’s subtitling division TMI.  TMI is Ireland’s largest supplier of subtitling services, providing both translation services and also specialized subtitling for people with disabilities.

Bernie Ní Shúilleabháin

Head of Finance Bernie joined Telegael in 2003 as financial accountant and was appointed financial controller to the Telegael group of companies in 2004. Bernie has extensive and wide-ranging experience in film finance, budgeting and production accounting and reporting. She is responsible for managing Telegael’s financial division and overseeing the financial and secretarial affairs of all the companies in the Telegael group.

Billy Keady

Head of Filming and Outside Broadcast Billy has worked as a director of photography for over twenty years, with extensive experience in drama, children’s, factual and entertainment programming. Billy’s experience includes both single camera and multi-camera filming and directing on projects for leading international broadcasters including BBC, HBO, ITV, RTE, TV3, S4C.

Ciarán Ó Tuairisc

Head of Audio Department Ciarán began working as location sound recordist and sound mixer and became Telegael’s senior sound mixer in 1993. He has worked as sound mixer on many documentary and drama programmes and has directed the dubbing of many animation and live action series. Ciarán was appointed Head of Post production Sound in 1999 where he manages a large and creative team of audio specialists.

Yvonne Hennessy

Head of Animation Yvonne is a professional artist with a wealth of experience in all areas of animation and design production. She has worked on animated series, films and TV commercials in various roles for studios across Europe, UK, USA and Australia.  As well as working in animation, Yvonne has been involved in book illustration, graphic design and landscape painting and has shown her work in group and solo exhibitions in Ireland, the UK and Australia.

Dr. T.P. Hardiman – Chairman

Following his graduation in engineering and science from UCD T P Hardiman served in the radio and television broadcasting services for over twenty year culminating in his appointment as Director General of RTE, Ireland’s National Public Service Broadcaster, a position he held for seven years. He has a wide commercial and financial experience at home and overseas and has served as member of the board of several of Ireland’s leading public companies. He has been active in EU matters and in the EU-Japan relationship and in the wider EU-Asia interaction.
